Merberry-- 10wpi 2 ply 100% Merino wool. I handpainted the roving in shades of blue, purple and fushia before spinning for blended and random color distribution. 126 yards

This is one of the softest yarns and most people could wear it next to the skin, the colors that remind me of a salad made only from different kinds of berries.

Handspun by me, from a smoke-free/pest-free home, stored with lavender or sweet orange oils (some yarns may pick up a slight scent from the oils, if this is a problem for you please let me know)

I can and will wind all yarns into a center pull ball upon request for no extra charge.

When I created this pendant it reminded me of the country roads in the mountains where my mother lives, how they wind and twist. Of course when traveling there, my son always asks, "Are we there yet?" Hence, the title. Shiny coppery brown 3-4mm freshwater button pearls steal the show in this necklace as the hand wrought, hand hammered sterling pendant creates interest. Length of necklace is 16 1/8 inches. The sterling pendant measures 1 1/4 inches high by 9/16 inches wide. The total drop of the Y dangle (including the pendant) is 1 7/8 inches. Secures with a spring ring clasp. This is one of my favorite pieces so far as this is one of the first metal pendants I have made totally by hand. The shine and luster of the pearls is beautiful. I think you’ll like it too. Have you ever heard of the New Jersey Devil? He's the 7th Child of Abigail Rose Shourds, one dark and stormy night in the middle of the New Jersey Pine Barrens - Leed's Point, rumored to be born on July 7th, 1777. This was an unlucky day to have your 7th child for Abigail Rose Shourds. When she found out she was pregnant with number 7, already in an unhappy marriage with 6 unruly children, she cursed this child, and swore that the Devil damned her, as well as this unwanted child. When Abigail Rose Shourds went into labor, it was a grueling long event. She continued to curse the child, to her Doctor's and Midwife's dismay. The birth was long and complicated. Finally, ad mist a storm of lightening and thunder, this child was born. The child wasn't like the past 6 children, it was heinous looking, shrieking and shrilling. Within moments it was evident that his was not a human child. The face of a horse, large, bat like wings, cloven hooves like a goat mated with a horse - an absolutely tedious sight. It continued to shriek and shrill, the midwives and Doctor ran in terror. The child began to sprout horns, and it's baby pink flesh was replaced with coarse animal hair, all over it's body. The child soon took flight, let out one last shriek, and busted out the window - disappearing into the dark stormy night, never to return home again. It's home now is the New Jersey Pine Barrens. Some people say the Jersey Devil is a nuisance, killing livestock, and animals. He's even rumored to have killed a group of scientists in Batsto Village, and then subsequently also killed the search group that went out looking for them. Some of the bodies were never found. I like to think of the Jersey Devil a bit differently. Sure, he's probably knocked out some livestock here and there, the guy's gotta eat! But his home is the Pine Barrens. He is, as I dub him, the "Protector of the Pines" He scares litter bugs out of the pines, and preserves the area. It makes sense, if you think about it - think of NJ. Ocean, Mountains, Industrial Parks, Oil Refineries - and one of the highest population per square mile - and we're not all that big of a state - how else did we manage to preserve miles upon miles of untouched forest? I think with the clawed arm of the Jersey Devil! So - this is my version of the Jersey Devil that I created and drew. He's a bit more friendly than other versions you may have seen. He's a beloved piece of NJ Folklore, our own personal Loch Ness Monster. Some people say they don't believe, but, I'll bet they think twice before littering in the pine barrens! Strange little sidenote - I became fascinated with the Jersey Devil a few years ago, drew up my version of him, even opened a coffee shop called the "Jersey Devil Cafe"! I began to research further, who the alledged parents of the Jersey Devil were - and - it is in historical records that Abigail Rose Shourds (nee, Leeds) gave birth to a 7th child, whom was never spoken of again or had any other records. But anyway - I found out AFTER my fascination, that I share a name with the Jersey Devil's mother - my name is Abigail Rose! Strange coincidence, huh?! Other Jersey Devil Paraphernalia coming soon! A funky glass pendant made by fusing bits of glass frit and powdered glass between a layers of vanilla and clear glass. It is 7mm thick and measure 40mm X 25mm which includes the 10mm silver plated bail. All of my glass is handmade by me with compatilbe glass and is properly annealed for strength and durability.

Great punky dress for spring! Brand new tank top printed with a cameo, skull, crowns, hearts, etc - tattoo type designs, on a light purple cotton rib reconstructed into a fab drop waist dress.

I added felt hearts to the front and back, ruffled gingham elastic to the back neck seam, and a felt hot pink cheeta print skull and crossbones to the back. I also added special permanent silver glitter paint around the cameo in front for extra sparkle. I embroidered the bottom of the tank with a fuzzy angora-like acrylic yarn, and also added a couple layers of lace above the two layer skirt.

The skirt is assymetrical and consists of two layers of printed mesh, one with blue and purple hues (with flowers and butterflies) and underneath, a retro print with flowers and abstract shapes in black, orange, pink and yellow.

These earrings turned out so cool looking. Very unique! Vintage flowers made of copper-coated steel were treated with layer after layer of a patinating chemical until a fine layer of rust appeared. Bezel-set pieces of lapis lazuli grace the center of each flower. The rusty patina has been preserved with a coat of polyurethane. Earrings measure just over 1 inch long and hang from blackened sterling silver earwires.

Three beautiful coin pearls were suspended between strips of sterling silver to create this stunning pendant. Sterling silver wire was flattened through a rolling mill and then hammered for texture. Coin pearls were "trapped" on balled sterling wire between the strips, allowing them to spin freely. The pearls are a beautiful silvery grey with flashes of purple, blue and green. The entire piece was given a lovely black patina and then scrubbed with steel wool to allow the hammer marks to shine through. The pendant measures approximately 3/4 inch wide by 2 inches long and hangs from 16 inches of sterling silver chain. A sterling silver lobster claw completes the piece.

This top is one of my favorites so far! I made this top using stretchy black lace with a silvery white floral design. I crocheted a halter top piece in black acrylic yarn, and attached it to the top of the halter, and added pretty beaded velvet ribbon with pleated mesh at the top. The crocheted halter had split rings and silver ribbons attached to them to secure the top. I also put grosgrain foldover elastic around the top edge.

Licensed Blondie shirt turned into super comfortable awesomeness! I cut off the sleeves and collar, and gave them lettuce edging. I added adjustable acid lime green adjustable lingerie straps (1/4") at the shoulders. I made belt loops and made a belt (matches the lingerie straps!) with a big ole' round blue sparkly buckle. I added a skirt made of cotton turquoise camo, and used permanent fabric paint to stamp and paint skulls on it. Blondie's face looks like a skull in the print on the shirt, and was my inspiration for putting skulls on the skirt. I also painted Blondie's face silver to emphasize this design (see photo). Would look great with a petticoat! Dress is pinned back on model.

Big juicy coral "cherries" dangle from sterling silver stems on this big, bold pendant. The leaves were handcut from sterling silver sheet, hammered for texture and then soldered onto the stems. The coral beads are gorgeous and I specifically chose ones with cool "imperfections" - black spots, color variation, etc. - to look more like real cherries. The entire piece was given a lovely black patina and then cleaned with steal wool for a nice, brushed surface. The pendant measures approximately 2 1/2 inches long and is 1 1/2 inches at its widest point. The pendant hangs from 16 inches of sterling silver chain and is finished with a sterling silver lobster claw.

Perz imagined a living dough boy popping out of a Pillsbury Crescent Rolls can. To distinguish the dough boy from the rolls he gave it a scarf, a chef's hat, two big blue eyes, a blush when girls kissed him, and a soft, warm chuckle when poked in the stomach.

This pendant is now made to order. My seven year old daughter designed this pendant. She's been excited to see her drawing made into a piece of jewellery. This beautiful pendant has been made using the cloisonné method of enamelling. The outlines of the design are carefully formed from sterling silver wire and fired onto a domed and shaped piece of solid sterling silver sheet, then the compartments are filled in with wet laid transparent enamel. It has gone through several firings to achieve the desired effect. A black cat on a turquoise and rich blue background is surrounded by spirals and a delicate amber flower. Counter enamelled and will be signed by myself on the reverse. This pendant measures 53mm x 38mm excluding the bail.

This pendant I made as an entry to the EEJA eeja.org Eclectic Cafe wire contest. This was a very labour intensive piece. It is made from solid sterling and fine silver wire woven like rattan. It is surrounded with square wire with ball chain dangles to catch the eye, and has a tube bail. I have enamelled one side turquoise and the other purple so it is is great with summery outfit and can be turned around for that night out. Supplied with a leather cord with sterling silver findings attached. You may choose the length. If you would like this pendant in different colours I can make it to your specifications.

I love the rustic look of the antiqued copper. I blends so well with the brown stoneware glazes. This necklace does a great job of blending those warm brown tones and bright golden sparkle of citrine with just a hint of creamy tans in the picture jasper. What a beautiful combination! The focal pendant measures 2 3/4 inches at it's widest point from side to side and approximately 1 3/8 inches from the top corners to the bottom of the curve, and is about 1/8 inches thick. The original stamped design really shows off the variations in the glaze with the thicker glazed areas being a tan color and the thinner areas on the high points featuring a yummy deep rich brown. This pendant has been high fired for added strength and durability and has been signed by the artist.

Dreamy Lampwork Heart bead done in periwinkle blue based with white sky blue and ink blue glazed on, adorned with raspberry pink roses, made by the SRA artist Dorris Sorensen from US.

Bead was hand wrapped with sterling wires, accented with brilliant Austrian Swarovski crystal and Thai silver bead caps, handmade by the Karen Hill Tribe in Thailand.

Pendant measures 1 ½” or 4cm in length excluding the wire wrap loop with the width just over 3cm at the widest point and suspended from 18" delicate antiqued silver sterling chain, closes with a stainless steel lobster clasp.

UPDATE-10-23-08 gave this away as a gift to a friend.~~~~~~A little blank book with a cute cutout of a vintage little girl who I dressed up in a dress made of vintage Little House on The Prairie book paper. This card is only 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" and just so sweet and simple. The base of it is a handmade paper. The deckle edged paper that frames the flower is 100% recycled paper and edges inked with Versa Magic chalk ink. The flower is hand crocheted by me from a cotton/linen blend yarn. The grey button has what I think you'd call a slightly opaque quality to it. I made the envelope out of recycled brown kraft paper. This would be so lovely to add to any gift.
