Papa worked for one of the finest travelling circus and freak shows in Budapest until the mysterious mishap with the trapeze artist and a cut line. There really was no evidence against Papa………so he was spotted on the scene at the time with a pair of giant scissors laughing maniac’ly by at least 4 people, what does that prove? I mean really can’t you tell he’s a sweetheart deep down? Papa would really like to get back into the entertainment industry soon. Let him entertain you. Snoopy, the world’s best-loved dog, once summed it up this way: “I wonder why some of as were born dogs while others were born people. Is it just pure chance, or what is it? Somehow, the whole thing doesn’t seem very fair….why should I have been the lucky one?” Snoopy first decided to be an author back in 1968 and the first words he ever typed were - It was a dark and stormy night. I’m not sure he ever got any further on his quest to write the great American novel. It certainly wouldn’t appear so as his paper is blank and I don’t recall ever seeing his work at Barnes and Noble. Still he looks pretty happy with himself at his opening line.

Well here he is the Pink Panther the rinky dink panther (rinky dink not a word you hear every day). Not even the best attempts of Beyonce Knowles and Steve Martin in 2006 could destroy the pink guys popularity, although he would rather you didn’t mention it as it is still understandably very embarrassing for him. Pink Panther’s meteoric rise to fame came about in 1964 when he was selected to feature in the opening credits of the pink panther movies. Despite the movies title, the pink panther in question was actually a rare pink diamond stolen and being sought by the bumbling inspector Closeau. Pink Panther was so popular with movie goers that it wasn’t long before he had his own tv show and comic books etc. Pink Panther is all solid wool roving densley needle felted with string jointed arms and leg for gentle poseability. All of my critters come with a handmade signed, numbered and dated hangtag.

Gromit likes knitting, reading the newspaper, and cooking. His prized possessions include his alarm clock, bone, brush, and a framed photo of himself with Wallace. He is also very handy with electronic equipment (a grommet is a piece of electrical wiring insulation, a term Nick Park picked up from his brother, an electrician), and is sensitive, intelligent and resourceful. Gromit holds a genuine affection for his master and remains loyal to him, even at his own expense or when Wallace's contraptions inevitably blow up in his face. Gromit doesn't express himself with spoken words, in fact he has no (visible) mouth, but his facial expressions and body language speak volumes. He does at times make dog-like noises, such as a yelp. Nick Park says: "We are a nation of dog-lovers and so many people have said: 'My dog looks at me just like Gromit does!.'" A mute yet sinister penguin, Feathers appears after Wallace advertises for a lodger. As the story progresses, Feathers ingratiates himself with Wallace, gradually pushing Gromit out of the picture and causing him to run away. Feathers takes an interest in the techno-trousers that Wallace has bought for Gromit's birthday. He reconfigures the control panel, putting the controls into a remote, and controlling the trousers. Spied on by Gromit, Feathers is revealed as a criminal mastermind who plans on using the trousers in his latest heist. He disguises himself as a chicken by wearing a red rubber glove on his head. This is apparently enough to fool Wallace, Gromit, and local law enforcement (at one point in the movie, Gromit spots a wanted poster of Feathers McGraw entitled, "Have You Seen This Chicken?"). Jerry is really the answer to Tom’s prayers……… dinner prayers that is. Naturally Jerry is quiet as a mouse but the ruckus he kicks up while eluding Tom is loud indeed. I love Nintendo Games. Mario and his ladder from the classic game Donkey Kong. Donkey Kong has escaped from the zoo and kidnapped Mario's girlfriend, Pauline. Mario must climb level after level to rescue his love from the top. Mario's only defense is an occasional hammer and his ability to jump. Too bad for him, that when he does make it to the top, Donkey Kong just snatches up Pauline and heads for higher ground.

Meet Barnaby, he’s a sweet, dopey hopelessly romantic little pink pawed bunny. Barnaby loves being in love and frequently wanders around parks at sunset in his own little heart and flower filled daydreamy world. This usually ends up badly for Barnaby as the objects of his affection in the past have included Kitty Hawk, Precious Persian and Rosie Rottweiller. Won’t you be someone for Barnaby to love? These earrings feature red coral beads bought in Italy and 14kt Bali gold filled daisy spacers. The beads are stacked on 14kt gold filled wire that I hand forged into an oval shape and hammered flat to keep the beads from sliding off. These earrings are so light weight, you may forget you have them on. They measure 7/8 of an inch at the widest point. The front of the earring is 1 3/8 inches long, and the back comes down 1 1/2 inches. Rubber safety catches are included for added protection against loss. Delerium is the life and soul of the party…..or at least he likes to think he is. he has been to every party……….EVER. The only problem is when he gets there most people are leaving and the ones that do stay to talk to him tend to be babbling incoherently. Dexter the Daschund is a little guy with big dreams. You see Dexter loves the outdoor life and longs to travel and have wild adventures……this is so much easier said than done. Needle felted from corriedale wool roving daggit. This is a commissioned piece I'm happy to make commissioned pieces of whatever I love a challenge. A daggit is a dog in the science fiction television series Battlestar Galactica. Like Earth dogs, they served as a domesticated pet, watch animal, or tracker; none survived the Cylon holocaust. In the 1978 pilot, Saga of a Star World, Boxey (Noah Hathaway) loses his pet daggit, Muffit, in the Cylon attack. Boxey is given a replacement pet, a robotic daggit named Muffit II, which made a regular appearance in the original series. Muffit II was portrayed by a trained chimp named Evolution (”Evie”). Muffit does not play a role in the 2000s revival of Battlestar Galactica, where it appears that at least one dog survives the Cylon attack on the colonies.

I Made This for You designs and creates crochet and knit items for babies, children, tweens and beyond. This Green Cotton Halter and Hat is crocheted from 100% cotton yarn. This adorable piece was made with children in mind and so can be washed and dried in the machine or hand washed if you prefer. Whether your girl is a girly girl or a tom boy this halter and hat will stand up to repeated wear and washing. All items are washed at least once to make certain all seams are strong and to remove any hand oils or grand baby fingerprints that may be on them. (She is a yarn junkie like her mom and Grams so when she thinks we aren’t looking she tries to grab and run.) All items are made in a smoke free home, but we do have a cat. If this is an issue let me know and I can rewash and place in a zip lock bag straight from the dryer. This Halter has twisted straps that fit in small holes that are crocheted directly into the fabric. Matching hats are made to fit a 17 to 20 inch head. My tops geared for children less than 3 years old will not have any beads or small pieces that can be pulled off and choked on. Larger items for older children may have beads and appliqués on them. Measurements are taken after washing and compared to a “standardized” sizing chart to determine the size of the item in the picture.
